Inspired by life lessons, Life in Folders is essentially a deconstructed planner to help you keep track of different aspects of your life. You will get specially curated folders of different categories, and each folder contains various log sheets designed by me, to help you organize and keep track of things in that particular category. There will also be other bits and pieces in each folder, such as special quotes printed on kraft / translucent paper, themed transparent stickers to help you decorate your folders, log sheets or journal, as well as other little things that I have put together that I feel fits the particular category. The items in each category’s folder will vary and you can see clearly from the photos & the list below to understand exactly what items are in each folder.

I have always believed that in order to keep up with a journal in the long run, it is important to be able to incorporate your own journaling style into your journal, because that is what makes your journal feel uniquely yours. A journal is an extremely personal thing, and I feel that one of the most precious things about journaling is being able to add your own personal touch to your journal and it’s amazing how much you can understand how a person is like through his/her journal. Therefore I am always an advocate for using journals or notebooks with blank pages, because I feel that a blank canvas is the best way to allow creativity to flow freely. Instead of using a journal or planner that already has pages all planned out for you, I feel that it is a wonderful feeling to be able to start a new blank page and having the freedom to inject anything you want into it, depending on how you’re feeling that particular moment, and have it convey the exact mood you were in when you were filling in that page. Every page is different, just like every day in our lives.

With that being said, I wanted to be able to share with you my way of keeping track of things, without having you use a planner that had fixed pages already designed for you, so that was how these log sheets came about. Through these log sheets, you will be able to incorporate my way of keeping track of things into your own unique journal, but still being able to have your pages decorated the way you want them to look. These log sheets were inspired by things I’ve learned in my years of living and I wanted to pass these lessons on to you. I wanted to place emphasis on these different aspects in our lives, so you can be more mindful of them! Recording down the details and keeping a log of them essentially helps us to be more mindful about them, and in turn helps us to appreciate these little pieces of our life more. On it’s own, each folder is a log of different aspects of your life. But together, they are your life in folders. I hope you’ll collect these folders and in future, be able to look back on these with a smile, reminiscing about these specific moments in life, knowing how far you’ve come!

Books, music and films play such a huge part in inspiring me, filling my mind with wisdom & adventures, allowing me to connect to the deepest parts of my soul and escape to different worlds even if just temporarily. This folder set is to help you keep track of the books you’ve read or plan to read, the music that accompany you in your everyday life, and the films you’ve watched or plan to watch, so you can use them as references and look back on them to see which books/music/films accompanied you through different phases in your life.
